Discover the secret personality of each Look Cooker – as Matthew does on his first day of school. Only if you dare!
Blink Drinkers read the messages you send when you blink your eyelids - even though you don't intend to send any messages. They are twins, cute and have big eyes. Matthew sometimes imagines that they have antennas on the top of their heads.

Glance Dancers brush you gently with their eyes, but then move quickly to look at other things. Mrs. Denton, the bus driver, is chubby with a round, smiling face. She is a very friendly Glance Dancer. Her type of eye contact is the least disturbing to Matthew.

Gawk Stalkers are nosy, always asking “What's your name?” They sneeze a lot and wipe their noses with their hand - very annoying. This one has tiny freckles and blond hair. His clothes are clean, but never tucked in. Gawk Stalkers like to pick on kids with glasses and this one is no exception.

Stare Darers are skinny. Their heads look funny on their small bodies. This Stare Darer wears huge glasses with thick lenses and heavy black frames. He never blinks – and is always searching for a victim in a staring contest.

A Sight Biter is the most dreaded, eyeball-bulging, nightmare with a bad haircut. He's a bully - just plain mean. Sight Biters have large bodies with pudgy hands and big feet. They thunder when they walk and get right up in your face when they talk. Matthew thinks this Sight Biter eats eyeballs for dinner.

Gape Scrapers are a rough and tumble group of boys and girls always wrestling for a spot by the window of the school bus. Their eyes are angular with large rake-like lashes that 'scrape' the view of what they see around them. You don’t want to mess with a Gape Scraper.

Peek Seekers are shy. This one has large green eyes, wears a pretty blue dress. She is very curious. Often seen peeking over or around the seats on the bus. She is dressed like a doll - very ladylike.
